Wimbledon: A Photo Essay
Wimbledon 2017 is over. Garbiñe Muguruza defeated Venus Williams spectacularly in a 7-5, 6-0 victory, five days after knocking out top-seeded Angelique Kerber. Young blood surged through the championships in the absence of Serena Williams. It was only two years ago Serena defeated the new champion, then 21 years old, in the 2015 final and predicted she would go on to win the tournament 'very, very soon'.
