We hit the literary jackpot with one of our first interviews chatting to prolific writer Sabrina Mahfouz about her show Offside, which she co-wrote alongside poet Holly McNish. The play covers four centuries in which women live, breath and play football. We spoke about how Offside happened, what it means to be 'manly', and women's sport in the arts.

Whilst we couldn't be there to see Garbiñe Muguruza take her first Wimbledon champs title, defeating Venus Williams 7-5 6-0, we were watching over the courts as day four of the most prestigious grand slam unfolded. The WBBL Play-Off Finals
The Sevenoaks Suns defeated the Nottingham Wildcats with a 70-61 victory at the O2 arena in May. We were there to capture the game and followed up a few days later with the gracious but incredibly honest Wildcats player Jo Ferreira on what it felt like to come so close then ultimately miss out on the UK's most prestigious b-ball title.

Man City Win the FA Cup Final
A record number of fans – over 35,000 – watched as City lifted the cup for the first time in their history in May after beating Birmingham City 4-1 at Wembley. SLOWE was there to document the day how we know best: visually.
