Taylor was named the BT Sport Action Woman of the Year, an accolade voted for by the public, on Monday night. After her win, she spoke about wanting it to be normal for all girls to play and strive for success in sport and touched on being an 'older' player in football.

Mikaela Shiffrin Races to Her First World Cup Downhill Victory
In a milestone performance on Saturday, 22 year old Shiffrin won her first World Cup downhill race, having only crossed over into the discipline this season from slalom in which she is a three-time world champ.

Serena Williams Has Officially Entered the Australia Open
OMGGGG pumped. On hearing Williams has entered and is training for the January Grand Slam [as expected], we couldn't help ourselves and had to include this even if there's not much else to say rn. Serena won the tournament last year [in the early stages of pregnancy] so let's hope she does it again, edging closer to beating all-round-not-nice-person-Margaret-Court for the record for most Grand Slam titles won – winning this year in Oz would have them both at 24 titles each.
